PHILADELPHIA -

Hundreds lined the sidewalk outside of the B Free Franklin Post Office in Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood Sunday to protest plans to cut Saturday mail service.

Protesters held up signs as they stood outside of the historic post office on Market Street.

The postal service announced last month a plan to cut Saturday mail delivery service. The change in service could go on to save $2 billion a year, postal service officials said.
