CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Charter One Pavilion is expanding big time.
The park district says it will more than double the seating capacity for the popular concert venue on the lakefront. The plan calls for 600 new seats, and a new lawn seating area that can hold up to 20,000 people.
Park district officials say they'll also add speakers to improve sound.
This summer's lineup includes shows from O.A.R, Barenaked Ladies, Phish, and Jimmy Buffet.
