CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
An injured baby gorilla at Lincoln Park Zoo is doing a lot better.
Nayembi suffered severe facial injuries last month inside the African center for the apes and needed emergency surgery. Since then, zookeepers have had to provide round-the-clock care.
They're also making sure she stays close to her mother and is being kept in a glassed-in area with a view of her gorilla troop.
Zookeepers say her mom likes to watch her and tries to talk with her through the glass.
