It was one of the most violent shootings in recent years in D.C. 13 people were hit by gunfire during a drive-by shooting along North Capitol Street earlier this month.
One suspect has been arrested as authorities continue to conduct an investigation into what led to the violence.
Some residents are concerned that Mayor Vincent Gray has not yet visited the victims or residents who live nearby.
Mayor Gray said during a media briefing on Wednesday that he hasn't visited the Tyler House community because he could not answer questions about the police investigation.
"People are going to ask me all kinds of questions as you might imagine associated with the incident,” Gray said. “I'd rather not have to say there is an investigation going on and I can't say anything. I'd rather go when I can really talk about it."
