Some of the biggest hoops stars around were honored at the Naismith Awards on Tuesday.

The event was held at the Georgia International Convention Center.

The star of the show was Tennessee coaching legend Pat Summitt, who was given the award for "Outstanding contributor to women's basketball."

Georgia's Kentavious Caldwell Pope was named men's college player of the year.

Diamond DeShields was named the female high school player of the year.
