Thousands expected for weekend Rock `n' Roll marathon in DC - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

About 30,000 runners are expected to participate in the Rock `n' Roll marathon and half marathon in Washington.

Saturday's race starts at 7:30 a.m. at Constitution Avenue and 14th Street and ends at RFK Stadium.

About 6,000 people are expected to run the marathon, and 24,000 people are expected to run the half marathon. Metro will open at 5 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. to help runners get to the race.
