PHILADELPHIA -
Experts say mold from standing water left from Superstorm Sandy coupled with a mild winter could make allergy season a little worse this year.
The head of the Lankenau Medical Center's Allergy Division says the hospital is swamped with allergy sufferers. Some patients have even been hospitalized.
Doctors have several tips for you to stay ahead of the pollen this year:
- Take anti-histamines early to help get a jump start on your symptoms.
- Seek advice from your doctor to find out what exactly is stirring up your allergies the most so that you can take the right medication to treat them.
