FRANKFORT SQUARE, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
Police have identified the three men who allegedly kidnapped a senior from her driveway at gunpoint Monday night in Frankfort Square.
One of the men, Chavell Anderson, 21, turned himself in to police about 4 p.m. Thursday while the other two remained at-large.
"They are considered armed and dangerous," Will County Deputy Police Chief Ken Kaupas said.
Anderson, Dorian Yamini, 23, and Aaron Anderson, 20, are each facing charges of armed robbery and will be held on $1 million bond, Kaupas said. Chavell Anderson and Aaron Anderson are not related, Kaupas said.
About 10 p.m. Monday, a 70-year-old woman pulled into her driveway in the 8200 block of Chestnut Drive in Frankfort Square and was called over to a gray sedan parked two driveways away. One of the men inside the car took out a handgun and told the woman to get in the back seat, while another man took her keys to drive her vehicle.
The bandits spent an hour driving around and trying to use the victim's ATM card before letting her out near a gas station in Country Club Hills, police said.
On Wednesday, police released surveillance video of a Wal-Mart in Crestwood where the suspects used her credit card. Kaupas said investigators subsequently received "a large number of calls identifying the three" men.
Aaron Anderson, of Richton Park, is awaiting sentencing for a July 2011 robbery in which he and another man approached a customer at an ATM in Frankfort and forced him to withdraw all his money at gunpoint.
Anyone with information on Yamini or Aaron Anderson's whereabouts is asked to call 815-727-8574 or anonymously call CrimeStoppers at (800) 323-6734.
