ATLANTA -

March came in with a chill as a winter system moved into Georgia this weekend bringing some light snow to the area.

Most areas in north Georgia reported flurries and light dustings, but nothing sticking. Some of the snow did stick in the north Georgia mountains, but it was less than 2 inches in most of those higher elevations.

A southwest Atlanta neighborhood spent the day without power Saturday after a tree fell on a power line. Power was out for less than 50 customers near Erin Avenue from around 8:30 a.m. until power crews were able to fix everything around 5 p.m.

A Freeze Warning was issued through Sunday morning. (CLICK HERE FOR A LIST OF CURRENT WATCHES/WARNINGS)

The cold temperatures are expected to stick around the next few days.

No travel issues are expected.
