KINGMAN, Ariz. -

Deputies arrested a 30-year-old man after he allegedly stole an outdoor air conditioner from a home early Thursday morning.

A homeowner reported an outdoor air conditioner was missing from her home in the 4000 block of Lum Avenue.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies say they got a tip that the missing unit was inside a neighbor's shed.

James Walter Adcock allowed deputies to search the shed and deputies say they found a ground unit air conditioner that had been torn apart to be scraped.

After initially denying any involvement with the unit, deputies say Adcock told them he saw a man with the unit in the yard. He said the man told him he could have it.

Adcock was taken into custody and faces felony charges of burglary.

Kasey Lee Hanks was with Adcock when deputies arrived and found to have an outstanding warrant.

Hanks was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to appear issued by Mohave County Superior Court.
