Junior Ranger sends swiped sticks back to Yosemite National Park along with adorable apology letter

Posted: Updated:

An adorable apology letter posted on Yosemite National Park's Facebook page was sent to the rangers by a young visitor who was worried she broke the rules by stealing two sticks.

The picture included the message, "The rangers that answer the phone and mail in our public information office receive a lot of letters, but this might be one of the best in recent years."

Here is the text of the letter:

Dear Park Rangers,

I am a Yosemite Junior Ranger. I went to Yosemite recently and accidentally brought home two sticks.

I know I'm not supposed to take things from the park, so I am sending them back. Please put them in nature.

Thank you,

Evie
