One of 'America's Most Wanted' arrested at Arizona border

SAN LUIS, Ariz. -

A California man featured on "America's Most Wanted" was arrested at Arizona's border with Mexico.

Raul Marin Sandoval is wanted in Salinas, Calif. on homicide charges. He was caught while trying to enter the United States through a pedestrian crossing at the San Luis port of entry.

A routine records check revealed the 2004 homicide warrant. Customs and Border Protection transferred custody to the San Luis Police Department.

Sandoval was featured on America's Most Wanted in March and December 2011.

In fiscal year 2012, CBP officers at Arizona ports arrested 401 people wanted for crimes such as murder, rape, assault, robbery and other criminal activity.
