HILLTOWN TWP. -

Police now believe they have video of Joseph Canazaro's killers making their getaway in a red Nissan Maxima. The video was captured by surveillance cameras at a local shopping center moments after his murder.

"This was an organized endeavor," said Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler at a Wednesday news conference, where the new video was released.

Detectives believe one suspect entered a parking lot in the Red Maxima shortly after the murder, met up with another suspect in Canazaro's stolen Lincoln pickup truck, then off loaded and proceeded from the home invasion robbery at Canazaro's upscale Hilltown Township home.

"Figures can be seen, we believe, off loading guns, other things that may have been taken in the burglary," Heckler explained.

No one answered the door at Canazaro's home Wednesday. The 48-year-old was killed here when two masked men entered the rented home back on January 18th. They tied up his fiancee and his 12-year-old son. The suspects ransacked the home, stealing guns, cash and jewelry. They killed Canazaro and left his body in the garage. They fled in Canazaro's black Lincoln pickup, which was found a few hours later.

"There are certainly a variety of reasons why one might have, let's say, ill will or feel like Mr. Canazaro owed someone something," Heckler added.

Kero Soliman owns the pizza shop right across the street from Canazaro's bar, Finn McCool's in Ambler. He knew the victim for years. He's hoping the video helps police get a lead, so they can track the killers down.

"Hopefully they catch those guys," he said. "Everybody's hoping to see them get caught and getting this whole thing solved, then we know who did it."

The district attorney won't discuss how or why Canazaro was murdered. He does not believe this was organized crime related..

"I'm not even sure what organized crime means these days, but no," Heckler told reporters.

The 2004-2008 red Nissan Maxima police are looking for may have some discoloration on the right front fender. Investigators say anyone with information should call the Bucks County DA or the Hilltown Township Police.
