One lawmaker is proposing new legislation to keep things moving on Atlanta area roads.

Georgia representative Bill Hitchens introduced legislation that would keep people from lingering in the left lane.

Hitchens, a State Trooper for 30 years, wants police to ticket drivers for impeding traffic if they drive under the speed limit in the left hand lanes of four lane highways.
