Fire crews respond to Georgia Dome Sunday

ATLANTA -

Emergency crews responded to a report of an explosion at the Georgia Dome Sunday afternoon.

Fire crews found a transformer on fire near the Northside Drive side of the Georgia Dome around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Georgia Power says they are looking into what caused the explosion. They say power was quickly restored to portions of downtown after the incident.

There were no reports of injuries.
