Man dies in Queens apartment fire

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Firefighters discovered the body of a 43-year-old man inside a burning apartment in Queens early Sunday morning. 

The victim was found by firemen in his bed after the fire started around 2:30 a.m. in a second floor apartment of the multiple-family house above bodega. The house is located on 95th Avenue in the South Richmond Hill section.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze and found the man with severe burns to his body.

The victim's name has not been released.

Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
