State police in Delaware are searching for the suspect who they say reached over the counter of a gas station in Wilmington and grabbed money right out of a clerk's hand Saturday night.
The robbery happened around 7:20 p.m. at the Exxon station on the 5300 block of Concord Pike.
Police say the man entered the station and asked the clerk about a gas purchase right before he reached over the counter and took the money. The clerk was in the process of placing the money in the register when the man took it.
The suspect then got into a maroon SUV and drove out of the parking lot. He was last seen heading north on Concord Pike towards Pennsylvania, police said.
Investigators describe the suspect as a black man standing 5'9" to 5'11" tall and weighing around 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black mask and a white T-shirt.

Cherry Hill Police are looking for your help tonight in identifying a woman who nearly bit the finger off of another women during a parking dispute in the lot of the Cherry Hill Mall.
A Philadelphia Police Officer has been placed on administrative duty after he drew a pistol and shot a man on the 6400 block of Oakley St. It happened just before noon on Saturday.
