Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

A program to help homeless veterans has bought its first home in Atlanta to house those in need.

The PACE program helps veterans adjust to civilian life by providing them jobs and a place to stay.

Veterans say it's very difficult to settle back into a normal life after war. They say PACE has been a lifesaver.

The PACE program plans to purchase 30 more homes in the metro Atlanta area.
