Terrifying video shows teen dangling from New Mexico ski lift before falling 45 feet

A shocking ski lift accident was all caught on tape.

In the video, a 17-year-old can be seen dangling from a New Mexico ski lift after leaving the safety bar up and slipping off of the seat.

He was able to hang on for a little while before plummeting 45 feet onto the snowy, rough terrain below.

He reportedly suffered a concussion, skull fracture, a collapsed lung and a lacerated liver.

The teen is said to be recovering.

According to a report on MSN.com, the teen was throwing a snowball at friends in the ski chair ahead of him when he fell.
