A $6 tip turned into a $500,000 lottery win for a woman in Austell.Lottery fever has swept over the Austell Food Store after Joyce Cunningham, who works at the pizza counter inside the store, won a half-million dollars on a scratch off ticket on Saturday.Cunningham said that the power went out, shutting down the pizza oven. To kill some time, Cunningham said that she used a tip that she received earlier in the evening to buy the winning ticket. "She was yelling and she was screaming and she was saying, ‘Am I dreaming?" said a store employee. Cunningham told FOX 5's Denise Dillon over the phone this isn't the first time she's won the lottery. She said that she won around $100,000 a few years ago. Despite the big win, Cunningham said that she doesn't plan on quitting her job, which she's held for about four months. "She said she'd be back Monday. She said, ‘let me take a week off,'" said Freddy Sevani, the store's owner. Cunningham says she plans to use the bulk of the winnings to buy a house.
