Kelly Bower admits that she's addicted to the website Pinterest.
"I pin a lot of quotes," she said.
Her home is filled with little knick-knacks that she's made from ideas she got on the crafty website.
"This is literally like 10 cents or less to make this ring," she said as she showed off a beautiful stone ring she made.
As an event planner with Creative Spirit Event, she loves how the site creates her very own online vision board and she spends a lot of time on the popular website.
"Like 2 a.m., I really should go to bed now, but this is so interesting," she said.
Kelly recently teamed up with Working Women of Tampa Bay to host a Pinterest party for other ladies who are also pumped up about pinning.
"That was one of the big jokes at the Pinterest party was you know, we're all addicts who have no interest in recovery," she said.
They're not alone. Ninety-six percent of Pinterest users in America are women. It's the first female-dominated social media site out there.
"A lot of the content is around things that women would be stereotypically interested in like cooking, recipes, things related to kids. Kids crafts and those kinds of things."
So Kelly put away her recipe books and pulled out her laptop.
Jessica Rivelli, the founder of Working Women of Tampa Bay, said, "I think deep inside women do want to be Martha Stewart, at least just a little bit, even if we don't want to admit it. And so what Pinterest does is it makes it easy."
However, argued Kelly, "It can bring out the Martha Stewart in you but it can also bring out the complex that says I'm not Martha Stewart. Like, look at all these amazing things other people are making. I need to get on it."
Regardless, for most women, the challenge is part of the intrigue.
"It looks totally complicated, it's a donut hole and gumball to make the ball, oh wow," she showed Jessica.
While Pinterest may be dominated by women, these ladies say it could be a great resource for the men in their lives too.
"I think men should definitely jump on Pinterest and find out what the women in their lives are looking at," added Jessica.
