Family and friends hold vigil for 2 missing DC women

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON, DC -

Community members gathered at a vigil Saturday for two missing women. They are high profile cases in D.C.

Pamela Butler of Northwest was 47 years old when she disappeared four years ago. Police describe it as suspicious circumstances and have questioned an ex-boyfriend, but there are no charges and the case is still active.

Unique Harris was 24 years old when she went missing in October 2010. She was last seen at her apartment in the 2400 block of Hartford Street, SE, where she lived with her two young sons.

The families of the missing have joined together for support. With the help of the Black & Missing Foundation they've started up a new group called "Between Grace and Grief Support Group." The group will meet monthly and is free to attend for anyone with a missing loved one.
