DETROIT (WJBK) -

Three family members were shot Friday on Detroit's west side near Winthrop and Schoolcraft west of Greenfield.  Two are dead and a little girl is fighting for her life.  There is an intense manhunt on for the suspect, 28-year-old Ferdarius Shine.

According to police, Shine shot and critically wounded his own seven-year-old daughter.  The girl was shot in the lung and the arm.

Police say he also shot and killed his 66-year-old grandmother and his 48-year-old aunt.  Shine then escaped on a bicycle wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with block letters across the chest spelling out W.C.C.C., an abbreviation for Wayne County Community College.

"At some point he grabbed a weapon and started firing inside the location striking his grandmother, his aunt and his own daughter," said Inspector Dwane Blackmon.  "We believe he is a CPL holder.  He has documented mental issues and he's on medication.  Our concern right now is the fact that he is still out and I believe he's still a danger to the community."

Police did recover a handgun on scene that they believe was used in the shootings, but it's possible the suspect has another weapon on him.

If you have any information call Detroit police.
