Man struck by Metro train at Gallery Place Station - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Metro service along the Green and Yellow lines is back to normal after a person jumped onto the tracks Wednesday morning at the Gallery Place Station.

The incident occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m.

Investigators say the man was killed as a result of his injuries.

Service was completely restored shortly before 11:00 a.m.
