A man was killed as he tried to cross Georgia Avenue Monday night.

The incident happened in the Aspen Hill area as the man was walking across the busy street at Heathfield Road.

The victim has been identified as Frank Sedwick of Silver Spring.

The accident remains under investigation.

It's unclear whether any charges will be filed against the 24-year-old driver
