Tree falls onto Metrobus in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON -

A tree fell onto a Metrobus in Northwest D.C. Monday evening.

According to Metro spokesperson Dan Stessel, a Metrobus was traveling south on 16th Street near Spring Road just before 7 p.m. when the 40 to 50 foot tree fell on the rear of the bus.

There were no injuries reported.

The downed tree caused traffic to be blocked on 16th Street.
