Harvey raid nets 83 grams of various drugs, 2 arrests

HARVEY, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A drug raid in south suburban Harvey Thursday resulted in the arrest of two already-convicted felons and the seizure of more than 80 grams of various drugs, along with a handgun, according to a release from the Harvey Police Department.
Detectives from the Harvey and Illinois State police found 11 grams of cannabis, 6 grams of heroin, 1.1 grams of crack cocaine, 65 grams of raw cocaine and a .38 caliber handgun in a home in the 14700 block of South Honore Street.
Jarvis Brown, 34, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis.
Norvell Allen, 54, was charged with armed violence, possession of cannabis, possession of, manufacturing of and delivery of a controlled substance, according to police.
