AVONDALE, Ariz. -
Police are searching for a gunman after a person was found dead near Thomas Road and Dysart.
Avondale police say they received a call from neighbors about a disturbance and shots fired in the area around 10 p.m. Thursday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult male dead inside a home.
Authorities say the shooting was not random and this looks like murder.
The victim's name and a suspect description have not been released.
What triggered the shooting or how the suspect and victim are related is not known.
