American Idol is now into its 12th season with the competition taking the hopefuls to Hollywood. Good Day NY caught up with host Ryan Seacrest and asked him about this year and what to expect in ways of the talent taking the stage.
"We have our eyes on the girls at a whole. You'll see some of those episodes coming up. They're strong as a gender. The guys are good but they have to step it up this year," said Seacrest.
