
A mountain rescue took place in the Superstition Mountains near Fish Creek Canyon Friday night.
This was north of Apache Junction, off of Highway 88.
A man was rappelling when he fell and hit his head. The man was conscious and speaking, but trapped 150 feet up from the canyon floor.
Crews worked to bring him to safety. He was transported by air to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
