WINTHROP HARBOR, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A north suburban man is the 37th arrest in a statewide crackdown on child pornography traffickers, the attorney general's office announced Thursday.

David Wayne McMurray, 52, is charged with three felony counts of possession of child pornography, according to a release from the attorney general's office.

McMurray, of Winthrop Harbor, was arrested Wednesday after a search warrant was executed at this home and files containing child pornography were found, the release said.

The attorney general's office worked with the Winthop Harbor police and the Lake County state's attorney's office to make the arrest, the release said.

McMurray's arrest is the latest in Operation Glass House, an initiative that the attorney general's office launched in August 2010 to investigate the most active child pornographers in Illinois.

McMurray is being held in Lake County Jail on $100,000 bond.
