Motorcyclist dies after collision with car in Phoenix - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night after a collision with a Toyota Prius at 32nd Street and Camelback.

The motorcycle was going northbound on 32nd Street when a Prius was heading southbound. The Prius turned eastbound onto Camelback, into the path of the motorcyclist, and the motorcyclist collided with the side passenger door.

The rider was transported to the hospital but later died. It's not know if the rider was wearing a helmet or not.

His or her identity has not been released. Police haven't said whether or not the Prius driver will be cited.
