Baltimore Ravens cheerleader says she was left off Super Bowl squad in retaliation

Posted: Updated:

As the Baltimore Ravens get ready to face off with the San Francisco 49ers in this year's Super Bowl, there is one team veteran that won't be in New Orleans.

Ravens cheerleader Courtney Lenz has been on the cheer squad for five years, but she did not receive an invitation to attend the big game.

Lenz believes it's retaliation for announcing her plans to retire after the last home game.

The ravens say they had to choose a select number from the 60-member squad and Lenz did not make the cut.

Fans have launched an online petition to send Lenz to the Super Bowl.
