WILMINGTON, Del. -

Delaware State Police have identified the teen victim of a deadly shooting over the weekend as 16-year-old Ahkee Flonnory of Wilmington.

Police say Flonnory was shot and killed Saturday just before 6:30 p.m. on the unit block of East 24th Street.

An investigation revealed that the teenager was approached by an unknown suspect who shot him once in the head, police said.

Police say a second victim was involved but they are not releasing the identity of that person.

According to investigators, the second victim was struck by a "projectile" at the scene.
