Equipment Stolen From Bucks Co. Youth Wrestling League

LEVITTOWN, Pa. -

A Bucks County junior wrestling league is stunned that someone could steal $1,500 worth of equipment from their kids.

The Truman Rams Youth Wrestling & Cheerleading Club of Bristol packed up Coach Justin Stone's truck the night before a big tournament last weekend, only to find all of the gear gone the next day.

"We use it every week for the kids.  Score clock, wrestling gear, shoes; they took my personal gear," he said.

"It stinks ‘cause you can't use it and somebody just takes it all away," said 12-year-old Joey Goldey, a member of the club.

Stone believes the heist was one of many in his neighborhood that weekend.  They say other neighbors are missing belongings as well.

His wife Dana said their organization is funded strictly by sponsors.  They are not sure how they will replace the equipment and have been borrowing gear from other clubs to help with the shortage.

They want the public to watch out for possible stolen wrestling equipment that may be sold on the Internet or in local pawn shops.

Police are investigating the matter.

It was a soupy start today. We can expect many clouds, some sun, lots of humidity, and a chance of pop up showers any time. At least it'll be warmer: High around 80-degrees today.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. Warm temps stick around, too. And we do mean stick...because it'll be humid, too.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
