KINGMAN, Ariz. -

A man and a woman were arrested after allegedly assaulting a another man in the 4700 block of Thompson Way on Wednesday.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies were flagged down by a 55-year-old man who claimed his neighbor, 60-year-old Glen Oliver White, had pointed a gun at him and his friend, 47-year-old Melinda Louise Pedigo, had punched him.

Deputies found White sitting in his vehicle in front of his home. White told deputies he didn't have a gun, but a shotgun was later found behind the driver's seat during a search of White's vehicle.

Deputies also found meth in White's possession.

He was taken into custody and found to have a prior felony conviction.

Deputies found Pedigo and they say she admitted to trying to hit the 55-year-old man, but said she didn't actually hit him. She was taken into custody and booked into jail.

White faces charges of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a weapon by prohibited person, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of dangerous drugs. Pedigo faces charges for assault.
