Johnny Secreto Foods to be featured at Winter Beer Fest - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

(WJBK) -- Get these recipes courtesy of John D. Coram from Johnny Secreto Foods, a prize-winning company at the 2012 "Making it in Michigan" food show.

You can sample his products at the Winter Beer Fest at the Royal Oak Music Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 26.

Espresso Especial Bacon Wrap

1 pound of medium sliced bacon
24 dates
1/2 # gorgonzola cheese
2 to 3 TBS of Johnny Secreto Espresso Especial spice blend

Take pits out of the dates and then stuff the dates with the gorgonzola cheese.
Slice the bacon in half sprinkle the spice blend all over the bacon, put bacon in electric fry plan and cook.
Once bacon is done let cool than wrap the cheese filled date with the bacon.
 
Mexicallia Green Onion Wrap

12 oz Philadelphia cream cheese
3 TBS of Johnny Secreto Mexicallia spice blend
12 - 24 green onions
1/2 pound thin sliced ham

Mix the cream cheese and the Mexicallia until it is smooth, spread the Mexicallia cream cheese onto the green onion, then wrap with ham.

Pulled Pork Sliders

1 pound pre cooked pulled pork
1 jar of Johnny Secreto crafted BBQ Sauce
12 slider buns

Put the pulled pork and BBQ sauce in medium size sauce pan.
Cook at medium or low heat for 10-15 minutes while stirring.
Transfer into crock pot at low heat.
Serve with slider buns.
