Stockbridge 3rd graders leave for inauguration

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. -

Some excited local third-graders left for the nation's capital on Friday. A group of Stockbridge Elementary Students were invited to attend the presidential inauguration.

Their peers and teachers chose them to represent the school as ambassadors.

These amazing kids will get a real life history lesson as they see President Barack Obama take the oath.  

They'll also get to attend an inaugural ball, visit George Washington's home, visit monuments and tour one of the Smithsonian museums.
