NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Bleecker Street records has been a go-to destination for people wanting to buy vinyl records and CDs of their favorite music.

But the Greenwich Village store open for more than two decades could be soon be closing its doors for good.

DNAInfo.com reports the lease at 239 Bleeck Street is up. The owners of the building near Sixth Ave. are expected to raise the rent forcing the store's owners to pay up or move out.

The space will reportedly be available for $27K per month starting in April, reports the news website.

It is not clear if the store owner has any plans to relocate.
