Stray Bullet From Gunfight Kills Woman Inside Her Home

A woman was killed by a stray bullet from a street gunfight while sitting inside her home in Southwest Los Angeles Wednesday evening.

The homicide occurred on the 1700 block of West 35th Place sometime Wednesday evening. Police at the scene confirmed two men were shooting at each other in the street when a stray bullet pierced the walls of the victim's home and hit her. She died at the scene.
