Norfolk Southern Railroad gave the Red Cross a break. The railroad shipped back nine emergency response vehicles to its yard in Hapeville on Wednesday.
Red Cross volunteers and workers drove the vehicles up north in October, where they've been on the job since.
The railroad spared them a long drive home.
