Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia 76ers center Andrew Bynum took part in a range of shooting drills with assistant coaches following a Monday morning practice at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

During an interview with reporters, Bynum said his rehab was coming along well and that he was incorporating more exercises with weights, according to the team's official website.

Early Monday, the team Tweeted a picture of Bynum taking shots.

The center has said he still hopes to play for the Sixers this season. Bynum hasn't played due to bone bruises in both knees.

The 25-year-old was acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers in the offseason.
