Chicago's Most Wanted: Fifth Third Bank robber - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

Many times bank robbers try to keep their crime simple. They go in and hand the bank employee a note, get the money and leave. But in this case the robber took things up a notch.

This was a robbery that took place on September 4th. A man walked into the Fifth Third Bank at Narragansett and Schubert. He stood in line with other customers, but when he approached the teller he pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The two bank employees working behind the counter complied, giving the robber the money from their drawers. He then placed it in a dark colored briefcase and fled. No one was hurt.

One witness saw the man running eastbound on Schubert, and another individual who was walking a dog at the time located a dark colored handgun which had been tossed on the sidewalk. As it turns out the weapon was a 45 caliber replica BB gun.

In terms of a possible getaway vehicle, surveillance video in the area of the bank showed what appears to be a dark colored SUV arriving and then leaving right around the time of the robbery. Agents have since been able to determine that vehicle was a Toyota FJ Cruiser.

There is concern the crook could rob another bank and perhaps next time use a real gun.

--Late 30's to mid 50's.

--6'0 to 6'3'' with a stocky build.

--He wore a tan floppy fishing hat and carried a dark briefcase.

He is considered a danger to the community. If you see him, you're asked to call police.
