If you love certain rounds of "American Idol" and would rather skip other ones, "Idol" has announced its schedule so you can do your planning.
The auditions begin in New York next Wednesday, with Chicago on Thursday.
Auditions continue for two more weeks.
The Hollywood rounds begin February 6.
By February 14, 20 male contestants and 20 female contestants will remain.
They'll go to Las Vegas on the February 20 episode.
America can vote beginning March 5 to help whittle the group down to the top 10, which will be revealed on March 7.
