Hedgehog Cheerleaders To Debut At Puppy Bowl IX

Posted: Updated:

While millions of households are gearing up for Super Bowl XLVII, Animal Planet will offer viewers some very fluffy and totally adorable counter programming.

Puppy Bowl IX will feature several breeds of young, playful pups, a super-entertaining kitty half-time show.   This year marks the debut of a little spiny mammal.

That's right - hedgehog cheerleaders will debut at this year's bowl.

The hedgehogs will replace last year's "Piggy Pep-Squad."  Go Puppies go!

Do not forget to check into the twitter verse and follow Meep, the tweeting cockatiel.

Last year's Most Valuable Puppy was a little lab named Fumble.

Who will win big this year?
