Project Overcoat is underway, and we need your help to collect 25,000 new and gently used coats and blankets for those in need in the metro area. Collections will go on until January 19.
Donation boxes with the Project Overcoat logo are located in metro-area Kroger stores, and donations will be picked up by FedEx and delivered to the Atlanta Mission throughout the campaign.
Good Day Atlanta's Ron Gant was at the Kroger Store at the Ansley Mall on Tuesday, where he spoke to Milton Little of the United Way of Greater Atlanta, Michael Harper of FedEx, and Glynn Jenkins of Kroger.
And Kiss 104.1 joined in on the event by broadcasting from the store!
