ARLINGTON, Va. -

Service is disrupted along a stretch of Metro's Orange Line in Virginia after a woman was struck by a train.

Metro officials say it happened Monday morning at the Ballston station, when a woman intentionally put herself in the path of an inbound train.

The Orange Line is suspended between Virginia Square and East Falls Church. Metrobus says it's sending shuttle buses to pick up affected passengers.
