3 dead in Brooklyn auto wreck

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Three people are dead after an early Saturday morning car wreck in Brooklyn.

The collision was so forceful several other parked vehicles including a MTA bus were damaged.

"It's surreal people here today gone tomorrow," said Erroll Williams.

Erroll came to the spot where his friend 26-year-old Andre Capers-Jones was killed earlier this morning when his car was struck by a black Acura that had run a red light.

Police say around 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning an Acura with four people inside was speeding and went through the red light at the corner of East 5th Street and struck a Toyota Camry containing Andre and passenger 24-year-old Leonora Lavaud. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

"He was just a good dude. I like his personality. He had one of the best personalities you'd ever meet in somebody. Shame people like that are taken away and others who don't care live forever -- I can't comprehend that," said Williams.

The driver of the Acura, 21-year-old Jonathan Ishan-Sade, was also killed and that car then struck several parked cars. The Toyota Camry also slid East on Avenue U and struck an MTA bus and several other parked cars that were still there well into this evening.

One male victim was taken to Lutheran in critical condition and an additional two female victims were also transported to Lutheran in stable condition.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
