WASHINGTON -

There is a little bit more on the line for D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray for this Sunday's Redskins playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks.

That is because he has agreed to a bet with the Mayor of Seattle. The mayor of the losing city must fly the victor's flag at city hall for a day.

How confident is D.C. Mayor Gray? He pointed out that the Seahawks have not won a road playoff game since 1983.

But the Seahawks may have the most recent bragging rights over the Redskins. Washington has faced Seattle in the Redskins' last two playoff appearances back in the 2005 and 2007 seasons, and they have lost to the Seahawks each time.

D.C. Mayor Gray and Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn joined us on FOX 5 News to discuss how the bet developed between these two cities.
