Driver of stolen vehicle crashes into Metrobus during pursuit

OXON HILL, Md. -

Investigators say the driver of a stolen vehicle that was being pursued by Prince George's County police officers struck a Metrobus in Oxon Hill Friday.

The incident happened around 10:00 a.m. at Southern Avenue and Wheeler Road.

The stolen vehicle collided with the Metrobus after it crossed the center line on Southern Avenue.

The bus driver and one passenger have minor injuries.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was taken into custody.
